About Using PayPal

K-12 teachers who wish to set up a single user account can do so by using their credit card within the PayPal payment service.  We have chosen to use PayPal for many reasons including:
  • PayPal accepts all major credit cards including - American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa
  • The PayPal service is widely used, trusted and highly secure
  • PayPal is owned by eBay a well respected and highly successful Internet-based firm
  • PayPal does not charge the payer (i.e., those purchasing a WebCourse account) for using the service
  • PayPal's automated payment setup is easy to use
  • As an added measure of security PayPal does not allow vendors, such as WebCourse Services, Inc., to see your credit card information
  • PayPal provides email feedback to verify (i.e., receipt) your purchase
  • For vendors, such as WebCourse Services Inc., using PayPal allows us to maintain our low price approach since PayPal vendor charges are low

If you are currently a PayPal user and have a PayPal account, then all you will need to do is enter your PayPal member information (email address and password).  If you have never used PayPal you will first need to join.  The information required by PayPal includes: your name, address, home phone, email address and password.  To make a purchase, such as purchasing a single user  WebCourse account, you will need to enter your credit card information. PayPal may also ask for one or two other items to insure security with your account. For additional information related to using PayPal we recommend you read the PayPal Privacy Statement and User Agreement.
